Columbia TriStar is prepping a special edition release of the recent vampire/werewolf fight Underworld.

In the Underworld, Vampires are a secret clan of modern aristocratic sophisticates whose mortal enemies are the Lycans (werewolves), a shrewd gang of street thugs who prowl the city’s underbelly. No one knows the origin of their bitter blood feud, but the balance of power between them turns even bloodier when a beautiful young Vampire warrior and a newly-turned Lycan with a mysterious past fall in love.

Anamorphic widescreen and fullscreen versions will be available with Dolby Digital 5.1 sound. In addition to three commentaries, the disc will contain the featurettes “Production,” “The Look of Underworld,” “Stunts” and “Make-Up and Effects”. Storyboards and trailers are also included.

When January 6th comes around, pick up the disc for a suggested retail price of $27.95.
