Buena Vista probably couldn’t be happier with the unexpected success of the family remake Freaky Friday. The film will come to DVD as a pretty packed DVD this winter.

Annabel and her mother Tess are constantly arguing; Tess’s fiance is an unacceptable replacement for Anna’s dad, and Anna’s music, friends, grades and boys are driving her mom crazy.. Then dawns that fateful freaky friday– when Anna and Tess switch bodies, and must learn to live in each other’s place.

The disc will go back to the good old days of including both the anamorphic widescreen and fullscreen transfers on the same disc with audio in Dolby Digital 5.1. The disc will feature the featurette “Backstage Pass”, a deleted scene, alternate endings, bloopers and two music videos.

Priced at $29.95, the disc will arrive on December 16th.
