The fifth season of Sex and the City is coming to DVD catching the home video viewers almost up to date with the HBO viewers.

It’s summertime, but that doesn’t mean the women of Sex and the City are livin’ easy. They’ve got new loves, new responsibilities, new choices to make, and (oh, yes!) a new baby to deal with – and that equates to a whole new outlook on being single in New York City. Ready or not, Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha are headed for uncharted territory.

Presented in the original fullscreen ratio, selected episodes contain an audio commentary with Michael Patrick King. Also included are biographies, episode previews, a featurette, and an interactive game.

With a suggested retail price of $49.95, the disc will arrive in the city and elsewhere on December 30th.
