There’s nothing like a good pirate adventure, and Buena Vista Home Entertainment will deliver the goods with the upcoming 2-disc set of irates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.

Captain Jack Sparrow has an old score to settle with the crew of the pirate ship Black Pearl. His quest goes in vain until blacksmith Will Turner joins his cause to recover his love. But these are no ordinary pirates they’re going up against, they’re the worst kind of pirates, the dead kind.

The DVD, featuring Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound, will include audio commentariesGore Verbinski, Johnny Depp and others, deleted scenes, a blooper reel, an interactive history of pirates, an image gallery and behind-the-scenes footage.

With a suggested retail price of $29.99, the disc will sail out of the mists on October 7th.
