The upcoming season sets for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine have been given some finishing touches and the details are in for the release.

Season five will contain all twenty-six episodes from the 1996-97 season marking the 30th anniversary of Trek. Features will include the featurettes “Trials and Tribble-ations: Uniting Two Legends”, “Trials and Tribble-ations: A Historic Endeavor”, “Crew Dossier: Miles O’Brien”, “Inside Deep Space Nine with Michael Okuda” and “Michael Westmore’s Aliens: Klingons, the Jem’Hadar, and other races” and several Section 31 files.

Season six will be released a month later with the featurettes “Mission Inquiry: Far Beyond the Stars”, “24th Century Wedding”, “Crew Dossier: Julian Bashir”, “Crew Dossier: Quark” and “Sketchbook: John Eaves” plus more Section 31 files.

The sets will be available on October 7th and November 4th respectively. It is also likely that like the past several Trek DVD sets, a small number of sets will be available with an extra DVD of supplemental material.
