Columbia likes My Big Fat Greek Life

Where the movie soared, the television faltered, but the short lived series My Big Fat Greek Life isn’t gone forever thanks to the miracle of DVD. The entire series will make its way to disc this fall.

Picking up where the film left off Nia and Thomas return from their honeymoon to begin their new life together and find that it will still include her overzealous extended Greek family. The family includes Nia’s father, Gus, an opinionated man who owns a Greek restaurant called Dancing Zorba’s; her mother Maria, the consummate worrier; her overly-protective brother Nick; her vivacious Aunt Voula who is always full of advice; and her big-haired, big-mouthed cousin Nikki.

All seven episodes are included in their original fullscreen and in English with subtitles in Spanish, Portuguese and Greek. Sadly no extra features will come with the episodes.

With a list price of $24.95, the set will arrive on November 18th.
