Charlies Angel’s go Full Throttle on DVD

Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment is preparing not one, but two releases of the action laden Chalies Angel’s: Full Throttle; the theatrical release and a separate unrated edition.

The Angels prepare to strike without warning as they go undercover to retrieve two
missing silver bands. These are no ordinary rings. They contain valuable encrypted
information that reveal the new identities of every person in the Federal Witness
Protection Program.

Both releases will feature McG’s telestrator commentary providing a commentary with NFL football style telestrator marks, a separate writer’s commentary, and an Angel Vision trivia track video link-outs to the Angel
featurettes, which include Angels Makeover: Hansen Dam, Designing Angel’s, Dream Duds, Full Throttle and There’s No Such Thing as a Short Shot, Only an Overworked Producer. Other features include the “Feel Good Time” music video, a cameo-graphy and DVD-ROM content.

The unrated cut will additionally include featurettes on the Pussycat Dolls, Rolling with the Punches and XXX-treme Angels plus a jukebox feature.

Oddly, although both versions of the film contain a Dolby Digital 5.1 mix, the unrated cut will be in anamorphic widescreen while the theatrical cut will be fullscreen only.

Oddities aside, both discs will street on October 21st and carry a $27.95 suggested retail price.
