In a world of more thought provoking films, there is nothing wrong with the occasional car chase laden likes of Bad Boys II. The cop sequel arrives on DVD from Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment later this year.

Narcotics cops Mike Lowrey and Marcus Bennett are back to head up a task force investigating the flow of ecstasy into Miami. Their search leads to a dangerous kingpin, whose plan to control the city’s drug traffic has touched off an underground war.

The two disc set will contain both an anamorphic widescreen and a fullscreen transfer as well as a Dolby Digital 5.1 surround track. Extras include the documentary “Production Diaries”, the featurette “Visual effects”, deleted scenes, storyboards, a music video and theatrical trailers.

Set for release on December 9th, the set will be priced at $28.95.
