Just when you thought it was safe to eat ketchup again… The Killer Tomatoes are back. The bizzaro cult hit Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is coming from Rhino Home Video this fall.

A government experiment gone wrong produces giant out-of-control tomatoes that lead to the deaths of innocent citizens in the most bizarre fashions imaginable. Responding to this terror is Mason Dixon and his “special” task force of misfits. Watch out! They could be anywhere! Rolling down dark alleys, downing helicopters or squishing helpless victims – beware of this seedy fruit! They may appear plump and juicy, but these aren’t your average garden-variety tomatoes. These are killer tomatoes and they’re out for blood.

Two versions of the disc will be made available, the first will be a basic version containing the film and a theatrical trailer. The more advanced Collector’s Edition will include six featurettes (Crash &Burn, Legacy Of A Legend, Foul Play, Where Are They Now, We Told You So and Slated For Success), an audio commentary with writer/director John DeBello, writer/co-star Steve Peace and creator Costa Dillon, never–before-seen footage and rare outtakes, the original 8mm Attack of the Killer Tomatoes student film, a photo gallery, radio spots and a sing-a-long.

Both versions will be available on September 23rd and will be priced at $14.95 and $24.95 respectively.
