Pioneer Home Entertainment has new titles on the docket.First among them is Onmyoji due later this year.

During a dark age of demons and ghosts, the Heian Emperor relies upon the imperial order of the Onmyoji to protect the kingdom.  However, as the birth of the emperor’s heir approaches, political intrigue and jealously will lead to the most dangerous of betrayals from within the Onmyoji and the Emperor’s family.  It will be up to the most talented of the order, Seimei, to face his master, Doson, and the dark magic that threatens to destroy them all.

Boasting a deluxe booklet, a making-of Onmyoji featurette, staff interviews and a special textless ending, the Onmyoji Special Edition DVD also features television spots, the original theatrical trailers and filmographies. The film will be presented in anamorphic widescreen with audio in both English and Japanese Dolby Digital 5.1.

Arriving on August 12th, the disc is priced at $19.98.
