The Sky is Falling on Accent

Accent Cinema is ready to release the Isavelle Rossellini film The Sky is Falling later this month.

Summer 1944, in an elegant villa in Tuscany. Penny and her sister Baby, who lost both their parents in a car accident, have come to live with relatives. Their aunt (Isabella Rossellini) is married to a striking, Jewish German man (Jeroen Krabbé) – an intellectual, and a lover of music and arts. Through Penny’s eyes, we witness the fascinating world of the villa: the family camaraderie, the unconventional guests, the peasant neighbors, and so forth. The girls experience friendship, struggles with school and religion, the first furtive feelings of love… and the horrors of war.

No extra features will come on the disc. The DVD will be released on May 20th with a suggested retail price of $29.95.
