New Line Home Entertainment’s experiment into reality movies did not fare well, but the DVD will be coming soon. The Real Cancun is scheduled for a July release.

Sixteen students from Arizona State University, University of Oklahoma, University of Vermont, University of Wisconsin at Madison, University of Georgia, Texas Tech, Boston University and Washington State University traveled to Cancun for spring break. The unscripted vacation was captured by the cameras.

Presented in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1, supplements include deleted scenes, highlights from the film’s premiere, the theatrical trailer and TV spots.

Arriving on July 1st, the reality comes at a price of $26.97.
