ER Season One comes to DVD

In 1994, everyone wondered how any show could follow the hugely successful L.A. Law, but the fledgling hospital drama ER proved up to the task. The first season gained the show instant success, and that first year is now coming to DVD in ER: The Complete First Season from Warner Brothers Home Entertainment.

All 25 episodes of the first season including the Michael Crichton penned 90 minute pilot will be included in their original fullscreen ratios and Dolby Surround 2.0 tracks. Plenty of extras are available including an audio commentary on the episodes “Love’s Labor Lost” and “Sleepless in Chicago” and two commentaries for the pilot. The interactive“The First Year Intern Handbook”, patient histories, a medical terminology glossary, two featurettes, outtakes and deleted scenes will all be included in the four disc set.

With a suggested retail price of $59.95, the DVD will hit stands on August 26th.
