Television Update Part I – ER

Warner Brothers Home Entertainment is readying the NBC medical drama ER for a season one box set coming later this year.

It started with a screenplay by the prolific Michael Crichton and became one of the most popular series on NBC. The premiere in September 1994 was viewed with curiosity to see how any show could replace the long running giant L.A. Law, but the show’s first season gained almost instant success.

All 26 episodes of the first season, included the two hour pilot penned by Crichton will be included in the set with special features yet to be announced.

The street date and suggested retail price for this set is still unreleased, but watch this space for more info as it becomes available.
