Solaris comes from Fox

The American remake of the Russian science fiction work Solaris is coming to DVD this summer from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.

Aboard a lonely space station orbiting a mysterious planet, terrified crew members are experiencing a host of strange phenomena, including eerie visitors who seem all too human. And when psychologist Chris Kelvin arrives to investigate, he confronts a power beyond imagining that could hold the key to mankind’s deepest dreams…or darkest nightmares.

Presented in anamorphic widescreen with audio in Dolby Digital 5.1, the disc will contain an audio commentary with producer James Cameron and director Steven Soderbergh, the featurettes HBO First Look and The Making of Solaris, production stills, the screenplay and theatrical trailers.

Arriving on July 29th, the disc carries a suggested retail price of $27.98.
