The newest film from Martin Scorsese, Oscar contender The Gangs of New York will be coming to DVD this summer from Miramax Home Entertainment.

Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Daniel Day-Lewis, , Cameron Diaz, Jim Broadbent, John C. Reilly and Liam Neeson, Gangs chronicles an epic period in New York City’s history, when tensions among immigrant groups leads to a dramatic clash of cultures.

On DVD, “Gangs of New York” includes a full slate of bonus materials, including director commentary from Martin Scorsese and the U2 music video “The Hands That Built America.”. Other features will be announced soon.

Coming as a 2-disc special edition, the set will be priced at $29.99 and will arrive on July 1st.
