Edge City makes it to DVD

Palm Pictures and Lions Gate Home Entertainment are getting ready to release the winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the Hamptons International Film Festival Edge City is coming.

It’s summer in Springville, and the kids are on the loose. James and Bobby are brothers on the lower end of the economic scale, while on the other end, Cherie drives Dad’s Jeep Cherokee and drinks Dom Perignon in parking lots with her equally well-heeled girlfriends. As fate and reality would have it, these worlds will ultimately clash, with explosive force and tragic consequences. After a minor incident between several city boys and a couple of suburban girls escalates into accusations of rape, disaster ensues when a city boy dances with a suburban girl at a church dance.

The film will be presented as a new 107 minute unrated cut with audio in Dolby Digital 5.1. Extras include a making of featurette, a photo gallery and previews.

The DVD will be available on May 27th and will carry a suggested retail price of $19.99.
