Columbia TriStar hires Vampire Hunters

Nothing in the world can make a better film than the combination of kung-fu and the undead. Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment delivers with the martial arts action flick Vampire Hunters on DVD this summer.

In 19th century China, an evil monk awakens a nest of ghoulish vampires hell-bent on devouring human life. A quartet of heroes trained in the Taoist Mao Shan school of magic and their master must use their unique powers to destroy the Vampire King and his lethal coven before it’s too late. Master of the martial arts, each of the four students specializes in controlling the elements of his namesake: Rain, Lightning, Thunder and Wind.

No extras will be included on the DVD, but it will come with an anamorphic widescreen transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound in both English and its original Cantonese.

Arriving on June 17th, the kung-fu will be priced at $24.95.
