It may be coming in June, but the frantic Christmas story Breakaway is coming to DVD from Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment.

On the busiest shopping day of the year, one of the largest and most exclusive
shopping malls in America teems with festive shoppers. For recently suspended police officer
Cornelius Morgan, it’s starting to look like a very blue Christmas. Recently suspended
from duty for his involvement in a shootout that took innocent lives, the former Lieutenant is
out of work, out of money, and out of luck. Coming to visit his wife at the mega-
mall, Morgan is unexpectedly caught in the middle of one of the biggest holiday heists in
history, with a gang of criminals taking the mall hostage to steal the $12 million in the vaults
from all the last-minute holiday rush shopping.

Anamorphic widescreen will be the only enhancement on this disc which will come with no extra features. The disc will arrive on June 17th with a suggested retail price of $24.95.
