The Wild Thornberrys make a safari to DVD

The Nickelodeon favorite The Wild Thornberrys made their motion picture debut late last year and will now make the journey to DVD courtesy of Paramount Home Entertainment.

While onn an African safari, Eliza Thornberry discovers that thanks to a shaman, she can now talk to animals. When Eliza discovers that poachers in Africa’s Serengeti Desert plan to kill an elephant herd with an electrified fence, she and her chimpanzee friend Darwin must somehow find a way to stop them.

The disc will come in both anamorphic widescreen and fullscreen versions. The extras onboard include a set top game, the Paul Simon music video “Father and Daughter” and the theatrical trailer.

The suggested retail price has been set at $29.95. The disc will have an April 1st release date.
