The People vs. Larry Flynt comes to DVD

The controversial life of magazine peddler Larry Flynt and his fight to defend pornography was captured in the 1996 film The People vs. Larry Flynt. Now the film is coming to DVD from Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment.

Based on the true story of the notorious Hustler publisher who was sued by the Religious Right and paralyzed by a fanatic’s bullet, The People vs. Larry Flynt is a stranger-than-fiction comedy about one man’s outrageous public persona and eccentric private life.

Available in both anamorphic widescreen and fullscreen on the same disc, the DVD will carry no extra features.

Priced at $27.95, the people will get their DVD this summer.
