Vanguard Cinema, the popular indie distributer is launching its new product line VX Entertainment, dedicated to risk taking filmmaking and cutting edge films. The first out of the bin is the brutal Disco Pigs
Disco Pigs tells the story of Pig and Runt who are born at almost the same time in the same Dublin hospital, spiritual twins to different mothers. The indestructible pair make the difficult transition from adolescence into adulthood, are threatened by external forces and their own desire for independence. They will stop at nothing, absolutely nothing, to keep their bond intact.

Little is known about the features for Disco Pigs or other upcoming VX titles, but the disc will be released on April 29th with a suggested retail price of $29.95.
