From Japanese novel to Hollywood film, The Ring grossed over $127 million domestically. Now DreakWorks SKG Home Entertainment is readying the film for a March DVD release.

A mysterious videotape comes with the ominous warning that everyone who watches the tape will die a week later. When reporter Rachel Keller sees the tape with her son, it’s a race against time to find the source of the tape’s power and destroy it.

Presented in anamorphic widescreen, the film will have audio options in Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1 . The featurette “The Mystery of the Ring” will be included along with the traditional production notes, filmographies and a theatrical trailer.

Carrying a suggested retail price of $26.95, “The Ring” will be available on March 4th. And seven days later… it will still be available.
