Knoxville and Green bring Jackassery to the screen

Fans of people getting hit in the crotch should clear their schedules for the end of March. Jackass: The Movie and The Tom Green Subway Monkey Show are coming to DVD.

Jackass will feature quite a few extras on both the fullscreen and anamorphic widescreen versions of the film, both available in Dolby Digital 5.1 sound. Two audio commentaries will accompany the film; the first with director Jeff Tremaine, director of photography Dimitry Elyashkevich and star Johnny Knoxville, the second featuring the collected cast of the film. The brief MTV featurette promoting the film, still galleries, filmographies and a trailer will also be included. Topping off the features is almost half an hour of outtakes and extra footage that didn’t make the final cut.

The Tom Green special will be a little less complex with a fullscreen presentation, Dolby Surround 2.0 sound, bonus footage, a still gallery and a biography of Green.

Both coming on March 25th, Jackass and Tom Green will have suggested retail prices of $29.95 and $19.95 respectively.
