Universal screws up Back To The Future Trilogy

After they made fans of the films wait for an eternity, you would expect the studio to pay a bit of attention to the release of the “Back To The Future Trilogy, ” but as it turned out, Universal Home Video just doesn’t seem to care much any more. After a year of aimlessly rummaging through their catalog, picking some of the poorest movies for release, the “Back To The Future Trilogy” really was one of the few highlights coming from Universal in 2002.

As it turns out, Universal doesn’t seem to have quality controlled the release of this release and as such, “Back To The Future 2” and “Back To The Future 3” have both been released with incorrect image framing. What’s even worse is that the studio is fully aware of the problem but according to an official statement has no plans to rectify it anytime soon.

With that in mind, all we can recommend is to stay away from this screwed up release and give Universal a serious slap on the wrist.
