BMW (yes, the auto company) sponsored the recent short film series The Hire. The shorts were directed by a number of eclectic directors including John Frankenheimer, Ang Lee, Wong Kar-Wai, Guy Ritchie & Alejandro González Iñárritu. For those of you interested in these films, BMW is now offering them on DVD for free to anyone willing to take their phone survey.

Additionally, BMW is letting callers sign up for the second season of the series which stars Clive Owen, Don Cheadle, F. Murray Abraham, Gary Oldman & James Brown and was directed by John Woo, Joe Carnahan & Tony Scott.

Unfortunately we have just learned from the company that BMW is no longer giving away these DVDs but offers interested fans to sign up for the second season DVD on their website.
