Lions Gate Home Entertainment has just announced its latest DVD addition, The Rules Of Attraction, which is scheduled for release on February 18.

A small, New England liberal arts school, Camden College has quite a student
population. Sean Bateman (James Van Der Beek), the younger brother of
American Psycho’s broker Patrick Bateman, is a drug dealer who’s slept with
nearly half of the female population on campus. Lauren Hynde (Shannyn
Sossaman) is technically a virgin and she’s saving herself for Victor
Johnson (Kip Pardue), who’s left the states to backpack across Europe. Her
promiscuous roommate, Lara (Jessica Biel) has the hots for Victor, as well
as most every other attractive male on campus. Paul Denton (Ian Somerhalder)
is bisexual and once dated Lauren but now has his sights set on Sean.
Everyone is the target of a sexual conquest by someone else. But the
onslaught of sex, drugs, money, and emotional emptiness is catching up with
Camden’s finest and the world they’ve created for themselves is about to
come crashing down.

The DVD will contain a widescreen version of the movie with a 5.1 channel Dolby Digital audio track, complemented by subtitles in English and Spanish. It will also contain a Commentary Track with cast and crew members. The segment “Anatomy of a Scene” from the Sundance Channel will also be included as well as over 25 trailers and promos for other movies.

The Rules Of Attraction will be in stores on February 18 and will carry a suggested retail price of $24.99.
