Disney goes Full Frontal

Trying to find a common pattern between the films of Steven Soderbergh is like trying to find the pork in pork and beans. Prior to his current multimillion dollar special effects laden “Solaris”, his most recent shot on digital, filmed in 18 days film Full Frontal was a moderate hit with the crowds. The DVD will be coming in February with a decent set of features from Buena Vista Home Entertainment.

Seven people with little in common other than their lives in Hollywood and the birthday party for a common friend find themselves thrust together.

A fairly straightforward release, the new DVD will be presented in anamorphic widescreen with audio in Dolby Surround 2.0 (in keeping with the film’s home video feel). An audio commentary by director Soderbergh will be included as will a making of featurette and a theatrical trailer.

With a suggested retail price of $29.95, the film goes full frontal on February 11th.
