In a surprisingly fast turn-around, Buena Vista Home Entertainment will release Sweet Home Alabama on DVD on February 4.
Raking in $113 million so far, Sweet Home Alabama features Reese Witherspoon as a young provincial girl in the Big Apple who suddenly finds herself engaged to one of the world’s most eligible bachelors. The problem is, she still has a husband back home in Alabama – a redneck who just won’t divorce her. She decides to go back home and confront her past.

The DVD will feature an anamorphic widescreen transfer of the movie complete with 5.1 channel Dolby Digital audio tracks in English and French. A Commentary Track by director Andy Tennant will also be included as well as a selection of Deleted Scenes, an Alternate Ending and the SheDaisy Music Video.

The DVD will be released on February 4 and carry a suggested retail price of $29.95. Let me take you home…
