DreamWorks travels the Road to Perdition.

Few Academy Contenders have emerged from 2002 so far, but one of the few is the DreamWorks SKG drama The Road to Perdition. Scheduled for an early 2003 DVD release, the disc will make a handsome addition to any DVD collection.

Mike Sullivan has always been a perfect hitman for John Rooney, but as with so many things in depression-era crime, sadly Mike had to be eliminated. But Mike won’t go without a fight because he must protect above all costs what is most important to him. Not his life, but the life of his son.

Separate fullscreen and anamorphic widescreen versions of the film will be available with audio in Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1. An audio commentary with director Sam Mendes, deleted scenes, the made for television making of featurette, cast and crew filmographies and theatrical trailers.

Each version is priced at $26.95 and will be release on February 25th.
