Robert Rodriguez strayed from his traditional high body count action films to write and direct an action packed family film, and it worked. Now Rodriguez is back for the second outing in Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams coming to DVD this winter from Dimension Home Video.

An evil scientist named Romero has holed up in an island lair to take over the world. Now Carmen and Juni Cortez must team up with two other Spy Kids to save the world once again.

Both an anamorphic widescreen version and a fullscreen version will be available separately. Both versions will contain an audio commentary with director Robert Rodriguez, four making of featurettes, deleted scenes and outtakes, a music video, still galleries, set top games and DVD-ROM content.

Arriving on February 11th, the disc will have a retail price of $29.95.
