Elie Wiesel Goes Home with Choices Select
Choices Select will be releasing the recent documentary Elie Wiesel Goes Home on DVD this November.
Elie Wiesel Goes Home follows Wiesel as he returns some 50 years later to Sighet Romania the village of his birth. The cameras then follow as Wiesel makes the emotional journey through Auschwitz and Birkenau, the Nazi concentration camps from which he and his family were forced into before he was liberated at the end of the war. Speaking out for victims of oppression worldwide, Elie Wiesel has long had a powerful message to share and the unwavering commitment to do so whether through his writings such as the landmark book Night, his reverent speeches or this film. “Elie Wiesel has lived in my hall of true and highest heroes all my conscious life,” said Hurt who lends his distinct voice to enhance the documentary’s visual imagery. “I am honored to be part of this inexpressibly courageous effort.”
The DVD will be available to own on November 2th and will carry a suggested retail price of $24.95.
