Vanguard is preparing the overly dark comedy Damaged Goods for a DVD release this fall.

A pitch black comedy on a serious subject featuring a lonely executive who takes her hopeless would-be rapist hostage without fully thinking it through. What ensues is a sometimes explosive, always psychological and hysterical interaction between two seemingly different people with exact opposite objectives: she;s extracting her revenge, he’s trying to break free. Yet through it all they manage to peel away the layers of the situation to reveal their common humanity.

Although the technical specs on the disc are less than stunning with a fullscreen and stereo presentation, but the disc will present an audio commentary with the films creator. Sadly no other features are included on the disc.

With an October 29th release date, the new disc will be priced at $29.95.
