Virtually every film or DVD (or anything else for that matter) nowadays, tends to have some boast attached to it, implying it to be the greatest of all time. But this past weekend, Monsters Inc. did achieve a legitimate landmark. Selling over 5 million units (combined DVD and VHS) in one day, the disc surpassed The Lion King as the highest selling one day total in history.
