Columbia TriStar tempers Cold Steel

Tough cop dramas will never wane in popularity, and the newest entry Cold Steel is prepared to make its debut thanks to Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment.

When tough L.A. cop Johnny Modine discovers his father has been brutally murdered, he’s determined to get the killers – Iceman, a stiletto-welding Methedrine addict, and his sadistic sidekick. Once scarred for life in a brawl, Iceman, in a psychotic fit, blames Johnny for the mutilation that left him with a mechanical voice box. And now he’s bent on revenge. While Johnny vows vengeance for his father’s killers, he enlists the help of a beautiful and seductive young woman, Kathy Connors, who leads them into a deadly trap ensnaring them both. Now in a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse, the two men careen through the streets of L.A. in a wild chase that culminates in an explosive, death-defying confrontation.

Sadly, the disc will have no features, but will contain the film in both anamorphic widescreen and fullscreen and present the audio in Dolby Digital 5.1.

A November 12th release date and a $19.95 price tag will be the final details for Cold Steel.
