Warner Brothers Home Entertainment and Eagle Rock Entertainment present the famed concertmaster Andrew Lloyd Webber in Concert in Andrew Lloyd Webber: Masterpiece Live From The Great Hall of The People – Beijing.

This staged “greatest hits” concert performance is the first of its kind by Andrew Lloyd Webber. It is also a first for the Chinese people as a 60-piece orchestra and some of theatre’s biggest stars, including Elaine Paige and recording sensation Kris Phillips (Fei Xiang), perform Andrew Lloyd Webber’s most beloved songs, comprising theatre’s biggest hits. Performing songs in English and some in Mandarin as a nod to the Chinese audience, this world-class line up is joined by a full company of established performers from the UK, USA and Australia. The 60-piece orchestra is led by the renowned Patrick Vacciarello who has conducted musicals for Lloyd Webber on Broadway and for national tours in the USA and Australia.

Presented fullscreen with audio in Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1, the DVD will contain behind-the-scenes footage, cast visits to the Great Wall of China, interviews with the all-star cast and available for the first time, an accapella version of Music Of The Night from Phantom of the Opera.

Priced at $24.98, the DVD will be available for $24.98. A deluxe edition packaged with a compact disc recording of the concert will also be available for $34.98.
