Warner gives us a case of Insomnia

Placing three Oscar winning actors under the care of director Christopher Nolan is the perfect combination of elements to remake the Norwegian thriller Insomnia. Al Pacino and Robin Williams both rise above the roles to deliver fantastic performances in the Hitchcockian adventure.

Crime never sleeps. Neither does Will Dormer, a veteran LAPD homicide detective sent north to Alaska to head a murder case. There his investigation is disrupted by an ever-shining Midnight Sun that wreaks sleep-depriving havoc on his body clock and brings Dormer’s shady, guilt-plagued past into the light of day.

Warner Brothers Home Entertainment is continuing to releases more and more of its titles as separate fullscreen and anamorphic widescreen releases. All other features will remain the same including an audio commentary, biographies, several documentaries, a behind the scenes featurette, filmographies, interviews a photo gallery and a theatrical trailer.

Arriving on October 15th, the new disc will carry a $26.95 suggested retail price.
