One of the last few holdouts from the American Film Institute’s top 100 films of all time, Sunset Boulevard is finally coming to DVD from Paramount Home Entertainment. This special edition should make a nice library addition for those who love classic cinema.

Paramount is doing the film justice by actually preserving the original 1.37:1 aspect ratio of the film. The audio will be in the original mono and the disc will contain an audio commentary, the featurettes “The Making Of Sunset Boulevard” and “The Music of Sunset Boulevard”, a map of the Hollywood locations of the film and the original theatrical trailer.

Set for a November 5th release, the film will shine again for $24.95.
