1970’s kung fu flicks have become a genre unto their own, and for pure action, Masters of the Flying Guillotine delivers. Passport Home Entertainment is getting a new Ultimate Edition of the film ready for DVD.

Finally available after 25 years, the restored version of the martial arts
classic about a kung fu expert, The One Armed Boxer, who takes on the
archvillain, the blind Master of The Flying Guillotine. The Master targets
the martial arts expert in order to exact revenge for the death of his two
disciples. Master of the Flying Guillotine combines eye-popping visuals,
unforgettable characters, incredible fight sequences, a spectacular
electronic soundtrack and one of the most notorious weapons in film history.

The upcoming DVD will present the film in both in English and in Chinese with optional subtitles. Features include restored footage, trailers, an audio commentary, cast and crew bios and a still gallery.

With a $24.95 suggested retail price, the kung fu masters will arrive on September 17th.
