Digital Theater Systems, Inc., better known to the world as DTS has announced the surpassing of the one hundred million mark in consumer electronics product sales.

Although the majority of DTS products are DVD related in the form of players, discs and receivers, DTS has also been incorporated into video game consoles, car audio processors and head units, PC-based software decoders and 5.1-channel speaker systems for the PC.

With over 100,000,000 units now in consumer homes. DTS has gained a level of acceptance in the end user market which will inevitably result in greater industry support.
