Pearl Harbor: Vista Series

You can find some additional material hidden on Buena Vista Home Entertainment’s 4-disc release of the “Pearl Harbor: Vista Series” Edition.

Insert the first disc from the set and on the Main Menu select the “Setup” menu entry and there highlight the
Audio Commentaries“ menu entry. Then press the ”Left“ arrow key on your remote control to highlight a small star. Now, press ”Enter“ to view a featurette entitled ”Why letterbox?“ that explains the difference between widescreen and pan& scan. Too bad really that this featurette ahs been hidden on the disc where many people will never get to see it, when in fact it should have been a fully features supplement to help educate people about the intrinsic benefits of widescreen presentations.

Now, insert the second disc from the set. Go to the ”Special Features“ menu and highlight the Faith Hill music video ”There You’ll Be.“ Then press the ”Right’ arrow key on your remote control to highlight another star. It will take you to an 11-minute long gag reel!
