On Artisan Home Entertainment’s release of the dark Steve Martin comedy “Novocaine” you can find some additional material hidden in the depths of the menus.

From the Main Menu go to the “Special Features” where you highlight the “Main Menu” entry at the bottom of the screen. Then press the “Left” arrow key on your remote control, which will highlight a bunny on the menu screen. Now press the “Up” arrow and then the “Down” arrow followed by the “Enter” key. You will now have the chance to see some alternative bunny footage from the film.

Another hidden feature can be found in the “Deleted Scenes” menu. There, highlight the “Special Features” entry and press the “Left” arrow key on your remote control to highlight another bunny symbol. Now press the “Up” arrow and then the “Down” arrow followed by the “Enter” key. This will give you access to even more alternative bunny footage from the movie.

Now, go to the “Trailers” menu and highlight the “Special Features” menu entry at the bottom of the screen. This time press the “Right” arrow key on your remote control and yet another bunny symbol will appear. Press the “Up” arrow and then the “Down” arrow followed by the “Enter” key and you will get access to… no, no more bunny footage, but a storyboard-to-film comparison of one of the movie’s scenes.
