It is always good to know that when pesky vampires show up, Blade is there to stop them. The high impact comic book sequel Blade II is going to make a nice addition to the DVD line up from New Line Home Entertainment.
When the world is threatened by a new and deadlier breed of super vampire, the legendary Blade and his mentor Whistler must join forces with the Bloodpack, an elite team of vampire warriors made up of Blade’s sworn enemies. These ravenous fiends must be destroyed at all costs in this high-voltage adventure exploding with spectacular effects and martial arts action.
On this two disc set, the first disc will contain the film in anamorphic widescreen with audio in Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS 5.1, Dolby Surround 2.0 and three audio tracks containing an isolated score, an audio commentary with director Guillermo Del Toro and writer David Goyer and a second commentary with producer Peter Frankfurt and Wesley Snipes. Disc two contains the bulk of the supplemental materials including an interactive reproduction of director’s notes with an intro by Del Toro, A Pact in Blood; an interactive collection of original documentaries, an art gallery, the original theatrical press kit, deleted and alternate scenes, the Blade II video game survival guide, a music video, DVD-ROM content and theatrical trailers.
