Artisan Home Entertainment is preparing two editions of the recent National Lampoon spoof Van Wilder, like many recent releases, the theatrical version and a longer unrated cut will be available on two separate discs.

Gwen Pearson has been sent on an interesting journalistic assignment; to discover the truth behind the legendary frat partier Van Wilder, but as Gwen takes on this simple assignment, she discovers that everyone remembers things a little differently and maybe this Wilder is not what he appears.

Both versions of the film will be presented in anamorphic widescreen with audio in Dolby Digital 5.1 Features include a making of featurette, deleted scenes,the Sugarcult music video, and theatrical trailers.

Arriving on August 20th, both versions of the film will retail at $24.95
