Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment has just announced that the studios will release the drama Cowboy Up in September.

Kiefer Sutherland and Marcus Thomas star as two brothers whose love for the rodeo’s sweetheart — played by Daryl Hannah — threatens to pull them apart both at home and in the ring. As a searing domestic drama and as an action-packed look at the increasingly popular world of professional bull riding, “Cowboy Up” offers some of the most intense rodeo action ever captured on film.

The DVD will feature an anamorphic widescreen presentation of the movie with a 5.1 channel Dolby Digital mix in English, as well as a French Dolby Surround track. Only the movie’s trailer and filmographies will be supplied as extras on the release.
