The International success Le Pacte des loups, better known in the States as Brotherhood of the Wolf will be getting a Region 1 release this October from Universal Studios Home Entertainment.

The legend of the Beast of the Gevaudan that terrorized France in their own revolutionary period is brought to the screen when Grégoire de Fronsac, special envoy to the King arrives in Gevaudan to investigate the deaths of several women and children by a beast. As Fronsac learns more about the beast, he learns he must fight not only the creature, but the superstitions of the villagers as well.

Presented in anamorphic widescreen, the new DVD will carry Dolby Digital 5.1 audio tracks in both English and French with optional English subtitles.
Other features include deleted scenes, cast and crew filmographies, production notes and theatrical trailers.

The French action classic film will come on arrive on October 1st.
