24 hours of fun

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment is preparing a box set for the television show that turned its nose up at conventional television storytelling. The real-time political thriller 24 is coming this fall.

Jack Bauer has to race the clock to handle both a presidential candidate assassination plot and his daughter’s kidnapping. But unlike many thrillers, as Jack runs through the toughest 24 hours of his life, so are the audience as the show is presented in real-time, making the entire run of the first season one continuous 24 hour series of events.

Each episode will be presented in anamorphic widescreen to match their original HDTV broadcasts and will have audio in Dolby Digital 5.1. Audio commentaries will accompany some episodes and two featurettes on the series will be included. More features may join the set before the final release.

Joining the already packed release date of September 17th, “24” will be priced at $59.95.
