Scooby-Doo meets Batman

For those of you who saw the recent theatrical trailer for the upcoming Scooby-Doo movie noticed the less than subtle nod to Warner’s other hero, Batman. But this isn’t the first time the canine sleuth and the Dark Knight have crossed paths. The caped crusader helped the meddling kids with their cases on more than one occasion back in the original TV days. In a brilliant way to promote both of their booming franchises, Warner Brothers Home Entertainment has brought these episodes together for a new DVD release.

While camping near Gotham City, Shaggy, Scooby, Freddy and the gang have a close encounter with the Penguin and the Joker. Batman and Robin are on the case, but can they save the day without the help of Shaggy and Scooby?

Presented in its original fullscreen this disc will follow the features format of many recent Scooby and Batman releases. The disc will contain the It’s No Joke game, a music video dedicated to Velma, How To Draw Scooby-Doo and trailers.

Coming out on August 20th, the DVD will be priced at $19.98. If you pick it up at the DVD Review Store for $13.99, you can save enough for a whole box of Scooby-Snacks.
