The Zuckers have speckled the landscape of filmmaking with their satire-laced genre pieces throughout the years. Although not their most well known, perhaps their craziest films have been the Top Gun/Rambo satires Hot Shots! and Hot Shots!: Part Deux. The two films crash to stores this summer.

Topper Harley could be the best pilot the Air Force had ever seen if only he could get over the tragic death of his father in a Photomat booth. But he must defeat his fears along with his fellow pilots to defeat Saddam Hussein. Harley believes his mission is over and retreats to a life of solitude, but his country calls on him once again to save the world.

Both films are coming with crisp new anamorphic transfers and their original Dolby 2.0 Surround tracks. The first fim will carry the featurette The Making Of An Important Movie“ . The second film will carry the featurettes ”Adventures In Filmmaking“ and ”Early Awareness”. Both discs will come with trailers.

July 16th is the magic day. Both films will be available with a suggested retail price of $19.95 each.
