York Entertainment to release some urban comedies in June

York Entertainment has just announced the upcoming release of Parental Guidance, an urban comedy starring Maia Campbell, Casey Lee, Stacie Jae Johnson and Dwayne L. Barnes, and the romantic comedy, The Job

“Parental Guidance” is a hilarious comedy that takes a look into the lives of a south central family. Sean, a struggling rapper doesn’t want to invite his uptown girlfriend over for Christmas, because he’s embarrassed by a family that makes the ‘Klumps’ look like ‘Little House on the Prairie.’ His foul-mouthed sister has four kids and one more on the way. His brother is a former football star at USC with a big secret to tell, and his older brother is a banker who has no clue how to raise his son. “Parental Guidance” is a heart-warming and flavorful story about love and family and the high drama that comes with it.

“The Job” tells the story of Jeffrey, a successful attorney, who has all of his priorities in order; however his wife is another story. She is losing focus on their marriage to climb the corporate ladder. Jeffrey’s best friend convinces him to substitute his wife with another woman. Of course, just until his wife comes back to her senses. This love triangle spices things up and comes to an exhilarating and unexpected climax!

The DVD version of these films will feature the original fullscreen presentation of the movies with a 5.1 channel Dolby Digital audio track. Extras are limited to Filmographies and Trailers.

Scheduled for release on June 12, “Parental Guidance” and “The Job” will carry a suggested retail price of $14.99 each.
